Out today in Nature Communications, we report the first-ever genome-wide CRISPR knockout screen in mosquito cells. This work combines powerful classical genetic screen approaches with cutting-edge gene editing technology.
The screening platform we report will be useful in future for additional cell biology studies, including further dissection of immune signaling pathways and uncovering new insights into host-pathogen interactions.
