The ACSF comprises a highly expert and efficient team of scientists who share an interest in advancing understanding of the fundamental biology of arthropods, using *Drosophila* as a model of arthropods and of humans, and focusing in on highly relevant topics such as understanding host-pathogen interactions, target discovery for therapeutics and control, and more. The team has extensive experience in technology innovation and optimization, lab automation, bioinformatics, and other relevant topics.
